With their blessings we started the work on establishing a padayatra exclusively for Tamil Nadu. Istadeva kindly sent an experienced padayatri, Sri Krishnananda Dasa, to assist and guide the new Padayatra Tamil Nadu team.<\/p>\n<p>On April 3rd, 2014 Jayapataka Swami launched the padayatra, even though there were still a few final touches to be added to the cart and the altar. Our plan is to initially travel in a couple of districts in the central part of Tamil Nadu on a trial walk, and see how it goes before we go on a full-fledged tour of the entire state.
