Our first stop here was Katpadi which is located in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vellore\">Vellore<\/a> in the northern most part of the city. Whenever we enter a new state we always make sure to carry books in the local language.\u00a0 This time it was no different.\u00a0 We ordered books from BBT and asked that they be delivered to an address here; so we were well equipped with books for distribution.<\/p>\n<p>The devotees from ISKCON Vellore welcomed us to the city and then joined us on book distribution and <em>sankirtana<\/em> and later for <em>gaura arati <\/em>and <em>katha<\/em>. A local donor who joined the program, asked us to host a program for the school children. As we are always in search of opportunities to preach we readily agreed. The school program consisted of a class on <em>Prahlad Maharaj<\/em> and all the students were very inspired by the character of <em>Prahlad<\/em>. We also showed then the book \u2018<em>Teachings of<\/em> <em>Prahlad Maharaj\u2019 <\/em>which many students purchased.
