Devotees Shantiparayan dasa and Parthasakha dasa are doing remarkable services for
all the padayatras.
Shantiparayan, a disciple of Radha Govind Maharaja, has been serving in the All
India Padayatra since last 9 years. He is from West Bengal. He is doing wonderful
services for all the padayatras: getting wood for making the chariot, the deities of Sri
Sri Nitai-Gaurasundar and Srila Prabhupada. He is also sending regular donations and
dry fruits to all the current padayatras.
The services he has done in the past have been for the Maharashtra Padayatra – a
chariot; Tamil Nadu Padayatra – a chariot and oxen; Bangal Padayatra – wood for the
chariot, a tractor and trolley, deities of Sri Sri Nitai-Gaurasundar and Srila
Prabhupada; Orrisa Padayatra – a projector, tablet, donations.
Services he is scheduled to do in 2024 are for the All India Padayatra – a new chariot,
a new tractor (done by Gaura Purnima); Maharashtra Padayatra – deities of Sri Sri
Nitai-Gaurasundar and Srila Prabhupada (and clothes), dry fruits (ready by
Nityananda Trayodasi); Andhra Pradesh Padayatra – wood sent for chariot making;
Prayag Raj ISKCON centre – deities.
Shantiparayan’s future plans are for chariots for the upcoming Assam, Bihar, Gujarat
and Karnataka padayatras.
All the chariots and deities are made under the guidance and supervision of
Parthasakha, who is from Andhra Pradesh and has completed twelve years as a
padayatri in the All India Padayatra.
Both these devotees are extremely fortunate and excellent padayatris.
It’s said that one who contributes in making a temple, the Lord gives them residence
in His dham. Similarly, these two devotees are making our moving temples. So
definitely they will get the best destination.
